PhD fellow Anne Madsbjerg has 8 years of national- and international work experience. She worked for several well-known architecture and landscape architecture firms including OMA and COBE. Project experience includes masterplans in Dubai, Lagos, London, China and Denmark. In parallel she worked for three years as a supervisor at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, School of Architecture. She now teaches master level students at Section for Landscape Architecture and Planning at the University of Copenhagen. In her current academic research she specializes in the interdisciplinary cross-field between urban planning, landscape architecture and anthropology. Human needs and human experiences of urban environments are at the core of her research.

Key research interests: community gardens, urban nature, phenomenology, perception and place-making
