Department of Geosciences and Natural Resource Management opens a new temporary website

Forest & Landscape and Department of Geography and Geology gather forces in a new department at University of Copenhagen from January 1, 2013: Department of Geosciences and Natural Resource Management (IGN). The department has a new temporary website that informs about the new department’s research, study programmes and outreach activities as well as the organization of the department.

Department of Geosciences and Natural Resource Managements research areas are wide-ranging and include subject areas such as geology, geography and geoinformatics, forest, nature and biomass, landscape architecture, green space management and urban and rural landscape planning.

The research form the basis for teaching on six bachelor degree programmes, seven master degree programmes, one professional bachelors programme, four PhD-programmes and a number of possibilities for further education. In addition the department conducts research based consultancy and public-sector cooperation.
