Landscape Architecture and Planning – Society

Future cities and landscapes need to be sustainable and inclusive. The green transition is an absolute necessity, and it should also enable nature, the environment and people of any identity or ability to coexist.

As researchers and educators, we create new ideas, knowledge and methods to enable inclusive and just transitions of cities, landscapes and nature in the face of urgent challenges, learning from past and present practices.

  • As a group, we bring together different disciplinary perspectives and backgrounds.
  • As a group, we engage with current issues and our work impacts societal as well as scholarly debates.
  • As a group, we aspire in creating a supportive and inclusive work environment that fosters and celebrates collaborative achievements and much as individual contributions.

We collaborate with researchers in Denmark and abroad, and with practitioners, societal organisations and local communities.

We deliver excellent research, and our knowledge and methodologies have an impact on landscape architecture and health design, naturebased solutions and natural environments, governance and planning practices, architectural history writing and community engagement all with the goal of developing more sustainable and inclusive cities and landscapes for the benefit of society and future generations.

We are and international and interdisciplinary group of 40 curious researchers, and we are always open to proposals from people interested in working with us.
