Work experience placement in landscape architecture
Become a bachelor host and obtain work done on a topic of interest to your firm or organisation. At the same time, you can obtain a good impression of future landscape architects.
Students in the Department of Landscape Architecture are required to conduct a work experience based bachelor project at a host firm or organisation during their third year of study. They use the work experience placement to explore a specific topic or solve a specific task for the host.

• Timetable and activity schedule for the work experience placement
The work experience placement is a unique opportunity to test the student’s skills and knowledge in practice. By participating in the daily work of a host firm or organisation, the student obtains valuable experience in the field of landscape architecture and becomes better prepared to enter the job market.
The Bachelor project
Along with the work experience placement within the firm/organisation, the student carries out a bachelor project which is connected to the host’s main field of activity. As bachelor host, you take part in the project work through your consultation with the student and ongoing contact with the advisors from the Department of Geosciences and Natural Resource Management. You can influence the goals of the student’s project work and how the final project is to be written or organized.
