Participated as leader, principal investigator, or co-investigator in more than 20 expeditions to Iceland, Greenland and Svalbard with the main subject: research on the climate-processes-sediments-landforms interactions in modern glacial environments and comparative studies in palaeo-glaciated regions. I have also long-time field experience from work in
Denmark.
