I am a PhD student. My main area of focus is mapping of abiotic habitats in coastal areas using topo-bathymetric LiDAR data and machine learning methods. When debating healthy ecosystems, not only biodiversity is important, but the abiotic environment needed to constitute the optimal living conditions are important as well. Therefore, there should be a greater focus on geodiversity. I participates in conferences and write research papers to pass on my findings, and I hope to contribute to more consistent, automatic and reproducible mapping methods.
