My key research interest is optical remote sensing and climate of terrestrial ecosystems, combining both near field (UAVs) and satellite-based data with meteorological data. Currently I have a particular focus on climate, vegetation, snow, and permafrost dynamics, but also the methodological aspects of using state-of-the-art optical sensors on UAVs.
