My main research interests involve ultramafic mantle rocks, the conditions of their formation and processes involved during mantle melting and emplacement in Earth's lithosphere. I currently work with early archean to hadean ultramafics from SW Greenland and plan to constrain the timing of formation and geochemical aspects of these rocks to further the understanding of chemo-physical conditions during the early Earth (over 4 billion years ago). I use several petrological and geochemical techniques as well as field observations obtained during remote field work in SW Greeenland. During my time at GEUS, I have worked extensively with U-Pb dating through LA-ICP-MS measurements and the development of analytical protocols for trace element analyses of both geological and biological samples.
