Forskningsområder

Geografiske informationssystemer og geoinformatik i bystudier og byplanlægning. Rumlig analyse af byudvikling med brug af satellitbilleder. Analyse af transportnetværk, tilgængelighed og mobilitet. Opbygning af forsknings- og undervisningskapacitet i udviklingslande. Web- og mobilbaserede GIS-løsninger. Geodata.

1997 – 1998: 8 måneders ophold ved Department of Geography and Resources Development, University of Ghana, Accra. Danida-financieret forskningssamarbejde, kapacitetsopbygning og vejledning af studerende.

Undervisning og vejledning

Approx. 50 masters students completed. 8 ph.d students in Denmark and Ghana. Extensive teaching experience within Geographical Information Systems, Satellite Remote Sensing and Urban Planning on all levels.
