Liveable cities of tomorrow – building on nature-based climate adaptation
University of Copenhagen (UCPH) and NIRAS presents global cases of increasing cities’ resilience and livability through Nature-based solutions for climate adaptation. The cases illustrate how we can Plan, Implement and Realize climate adaptation in line with the UN SDGs.
This Masterclass includes case presentations and a panel discussion where the delegates can explore and debate barriers, drivers and synergies for Nature-based solutions for climate adaptation in their own context. The Masterclass is attended by experienced academics and professionals from UCPH and NIRAS, who will participate in the panel discussion. The aim is to provide the participants with knowledge and a purposeful understanding of where to start their own process of creating livable cities within the scope of the UN SDGs and Nature-based solutions for climate adaptation.
Time and format:
The Master class will be repeated 2 times. It has a 1½ hour program, with the opportunity for networking with experts, professionals and other participants.
