Michel Bauwens. P2P and the Commons
As part of World Commons Week, a discussion with commons theorist Michel Bauwens on Peer2Peer production, activism, art and the commons.
He will be interviewed by Sophie Jerram, a New Zealand curator and PhD Researcher from IGN whose research focuses on contemporary landscapes and commoning practices.
Michel Bauwens is the founding director of the P2P Foundation, which studies the impact of peer-to-peer technology on society. He is also research director of CommonsTransition.org and the co-author of Network Society and Future Scenarios for a Collaborative Economy, among other works.
