Flood risk assessment - new data, methods and international cases
It is with great pleasure that we invite you to the third webinar in a series which focuses on cities and rising sea levels.
From different perspectives and based on Danish as well as international research and experiences the webinars will address challenges and solutions.
“After an overview of the newest global data for flood risk assessment, such as storm surge levels and data on coastal infrastructure, we will zoom in on how coastal flood risk can be simulated now and in a future with climate change, and explain the adaptation pathways approach that supports decision makers to select measures under uncertainty. We use international cases (Los Angeles, Rotterdam, etc.) to provide inspiration how challenges can be solved with different solutions (levees, nature based solutions and insurance).” Jeroen Aerts
