Welcome to the inaugural lectures by two newly appointed Professors at the University of Copenhagen’s Section for Landscape, Architecture Planning and Society!

The Department of Geosciences and Natural Resource Management celebrates the appointment of two Professors who will strengthen historical and cultural research and teaching in the field of landscape architecture and planning.

Reflecting on recent developments in their fields and their different ways of engaging with the past in research, teaching, collaborative leadership and public scholarship, Svava Riesto and Henriette Steiner will consider how histories of architecture, landscapes and cities matter to our future.
