Regulations for Visitors

The arboretum is open to visitors every day from 7.30 a.m. to sunset.  

To protect the collection and ensure public safety, please observe the following rules: 

  • The public are permitted to walk throughout the park, with due respect for the plants, apart from the gardeners working areas. These areas are marked by no entry signs.
  • Removing or destroying plant material is strictly prohibited.
  • Picnicing may be enjoyed in the Arboretum with due respect for nature and the employees.
  • Rubbish must not be left on the grounds.
  • Dogs are not permitted in the Arboretum. 
  • Bicyckling is not permitted.
  • Motor vehicles are not permitted within the grounds and must be parked in the parking area outside the main entrance.
  • Dogs are not allowed in the park.
