Associate Professor with responsibility for insects on trees in forestry, urban areas and open landscape. Has almost 40 years of experience in research in applied insect ecology in agriculture, horticulture and forestry. Graduated from University of Copenhagen (Biology) in 1983 - Population dynamics of the spruce bark beetle Ips typographus. Since employment at Forest and Landscape - now University of Copenhagen - worked on integrated management methods of the most significant insect pests in forestry, production of Christmas trees, parks and landscape includingbthe challenges from invasive species and climate change.
Recent and on-going research includes investigations on forest entomology, bio-control, invasive species and climate change.

Recent and on-going research includes:

Biocontrol of Adelges nordmannianae (MUDP)
