The locations and growth dynamics of workplaces and employment are examined by examining changes in entry and exit, growth and decline, and relocation in and out of both metro- and non-metro-served areas of the city. As a result, this study demonstrates the strong spatial restructuring that has taken place in the city of Copenhagen by covering multi-dimensional processes, including sectoral shifts, renewal and relocation.
