Deforestation, biodiversity conservation and social-ecological systems in the tropics

The seminar is based on guest lectures by Senior researcher, Carlos M. Souza, IMAZON, Brazil, and Professor Joern Fischer, Leuphana, Lüneburg University, Germany, who are visiting in connection with the Ph.D.-defence of Camilo Tomazini Pedrollo. Laura Vang Rasmussen, IGN, University of Copenhagen, will give a short introduction and wrap up the seminar with perspectives related to ongoing work at IGN, including Camilo’s thesis.
