Anne Margrethe Wagner’s research focuses on the transformation of urban and rural landscapes, with particular attention to public space, participation, and co-design. She investigates how collective spatial practice and place-based interventions can inform more democratic, inclusive, and regenerative approaches to spatial development. Across projects, she combines research-through-design with engagement in practice and pedagogy, aiming to develop new conceptual and methodological approaches for landscape architecture that respond to social, cultural, and ecological challenges.

In her appraisal seminar, Anne will present work from her research over the past six years as a Tenure Track Assistant Professor. She will also share her future research objectives and reflections on visions for future teaching development.
